Memory
Memory lets Claude remember your preferences and context across conversations—corrections, working style, recurring topics. **Free on Free, Pro, and Max** by default (Team/Enterprise: off by default, owner-enabled). Memory is shared between chat and Claude Cowork when Cowork runs in the cloud. A related but separate capability, **searching your past chats** with Claude (RAG-based), requires Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise. Enable/manage both in Settings → Memory. You can also import memories from other AI tools using the memory import tool.
