Projects

Projects let you organize conversations and documents into workspaces with persistent context. **Available on all plans including free** as of February 2026 (Free is capped at 5 projects). On **paid plans**, project knowledge automatically scales through Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), expanding capacity up to **10x** as content approaches context limits. A **new version of projects (beta)** is now rolling out too, starting with Claude Code: a project becomes one conversation that Claude splits into parallel cloud threads.
