Custom GPTs let you create specialized AI assistants with custom instructions, knowledge files, and **Actions for external API integrations**. Actions replaced the old plugin system in April 2024. **Anyone can use public GPTs**, but creating your own with Actions requires Plus ($20/mo) or higher.
